FAQ

How is the electrical energy returned to the grid?

The windmill generates 1400 kWh per year to 1800 kWh per year at a wind speed of 4.5 m/s. The active electrical equipment consumes this generated energy directly. If all

appliances are switched off (e. g. at night), the abundant energy is delivered to the grid. It is determined by law that up to 3000 kWh may be returned to the grid at kWh price (e. g.

22 cent per kWh). Returning more than 3000 kWh back to the grid might result in a lower fee over the total amount of energy returned. Contact your electricity supplier for more information.

What is the potential yield of the windmill?

The yield is high with 1400 kWh and a potential of 1800 kWh per year 4.5 m/s due to a venturi. During a year this saves at least 680 kg of CO2 emissions. A significant contribution to a better environment!

Please be aware that it is important for the site to have sufficient wind and no large buildings or afforestation. In particular, the southwest corner is important. In fact 55% of the wind originates from this direction and on average blows harder from this angle.

What are the investment costs of the windmill?

For an overview of the prices of the windmill and installation options please contact us. The full price is in fact also dependent on the installation options on site. There are several options for financing the purchase of the windmill for both private and business.

You can finance your windmill under your mortgage, making the interest tax deductible. The tax authority sees this measure as an improvement in your own home. Your bank will be glad to participate.

Is it possible to assemble the turbines yourself?

No, the installation is provided by a professional installation company selected by Airrush. The assembly price is going to be mentioned in the offer.
